The AETA Bucks program invests in encouraging business between members.
It also provides an incentive for buyer attendance at the trade shows.
This member-to-member benefit has the potential to generate over
$312,000 in orders for AETA member exhibitors.
Retail
buyers who are also AETA members are rewarded with AETA Bucks. These
vouchers are redeemable for discounts on purchases at any AETA member
exhibitor booth. Our exhibitor members can then offer extra discounts to
retailer members without incurring additional cost. The AETA Bucks
program for the August 2010 Trade Show awards
$250 in AETA Bucks to each
retail member. Each $100 AETA buck represents a 20% discount off your
show order (minimum $500) with any AETA member exhibitor. The new $50
buck also represents a 20% discount off your show order and is used the
same way as the $100 buck, but on orders with a $250 minimum.
Yes, that’s right…you asked and we listened… by raising the AETA Bucks
an extra $50. This should really help some of the smaller retailers who
may not have the opportunity to spend $500 at an exhibitor’s booth.
AETA Bucks Redemption Process
Step 1: To qualify to receive AETA BUCKS,
you must be a fully-paid AETA Retail member in good standing by
July 19, 2010. To become an AETA member,
go to the Membership tab, then Member Application and follow the
directions.
Step 2:
When AETA Member Buyers arrive at the show, they need only
check in at the AETA Booth
where they will receive AETA Bucks vouchers. Recipients of AETA Bucks
can spend them with any AETA Member
Exhibitors.
Step 3: AETA Member
Exhibitors will be provided with display signage that designates
“Proud Member of AETA. AETA Bucks
Welcome Here.” In addition, the show directory has clearly
designated the AETA Member Exhibitors, and a list will be given to every
member buyer with their AETA Bucks.
Step 4:
Write orders with the holders of AETA
Bucks. Each order must total a minimum $500 for every $100
voucher applied or a minimum of $250 for every $50 voucher.
Step 5: Exhibitors retain
both copies of the AETA Bucks. The top copy is surrendered to AETA for
reimbursement. The bottom copy is attached to the retailers purchase
order so that the retailer gets proper credit upon shipment.
Step 6: By 4 P.M. on the
last day of the Trade Show, Exhibitors
bring collected AETA Bucks vouchers to
the AETA Booth for reimbursement of the face value of all Bucks
collected.
AETA Bucks are for use of AETA
Members only. They are non-transferable and have a space for
signature of both the buyer and the exhibitor. Each certificate is
numbered and will be checked off the master list upon presentation.
