What is AETA?

 

The American Equestrian Trade Association (AETA) is a not-for-profit organization established to promote industry advancement.   A 501C6 Not-For-Profit Organization, AETA is chartered to:

▪  Advance and safeguard the business interests of those who provide products and services to the equestrian community.

▪  To act as an industry resource and provide a strong voice representing all sectors of our industry.

▪  Encourage and nurture interest in equestrian activities in the United States.

 
Why was the American Equestrian Trade Association formed?

 

The Association’s purpose extends far beyond the presentation of a well-run trade show that connects those in the industry, AETA’s primary objectives include:

  • Build a strong industry network of individuals with common interests that will promote the well-being of the industry as a whole.

  • Act as an industry resource and provide a strong voice representing all sectors of our industry.

  • Help members do business more cost effectively and efficiently

  • Conduct valuable research beyond the capacity of individual companies

  • Build cooperative relationships with industry associations and media

  • Encourage and nurture interest in equestrian activities in the United States

  • Negotiate on behalf of our trade show exhibitors

 

How can I get involved?

 

AETA is a primarily a volunteer run organization and provides opportunities to lend your talents to serve our industry in a variety of capacities including association leadership. mentoring, event planning and membership marketing.  And, it all starts when you become a member.  We invite existing members to visit our Volunteer Center to explore opportunities.
